From Bud To Bloom
Hi, I’m Jan. Welcome to Blooming Marvellous Flowers. I’ve always had a love for all things floral, but my journey towards floristry began after giving up a career in corporate travel to start a family.
I went back to work in various different jobs which failed to excite me. Approaching a significant birthday, I decided it was now or never to progress a new career in my passion.
I was driven to train as a florist and started by first gaining a distinction in City & Guilds Floristry Level 2, progressing to a Level 3 distinction.
About The Shop
As my technical knowledge grew, I explored my creativity further.
I practised my skills working in another flower shop, before deciding to take the leap to open my very own marvellous florist. I opened the doors to Blooming Marvellous alongside my partner and daughter in 2020.
We’ve been greeted by great success with loyal, regular customers returning again and again for a pretty vase display or wedding bouquet to make their day.
